Weddings/Private Events

The Chris Hodges Band has been playing private events throughout the Southeast since 2006. We pride ourselves in quality and sophistication and do our best to make your event memorable. Our performances balance energy, feel and volume to perfectly match the festivities. We make sure your guests are entertained while providing an atmosphere conducive to mingling and conversing.

Our set lists read like a sixty year comprehensive of top jazz tunes leading you from Swing to Bossa to Funky Blues and everywhere in between. We cover the greats like Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespy, Dave Brubeck, and Cannonball Adderley.

One thing that makes our group perfect for your celebration is the fact that we can be a quartet (our standard size) or a trio. The quartet is made up of a horn (normally trombone), upright and electric bass, guitar, and drums. The trio simply omits the horn.

Since the band’s formation in 2005 under the original title, Chris’ Six, The Chris        Hodges Band has maintained a busy schedule playing clubs, festivals, wedding receptions, fund raisers, music venues, formal dinners and private parties. All of the musicians are top- notch local professionals.
